Delusional

Hi guyssss, it’s been over 30 days I wrote to you last and frankly, I do not plan to write anytime soon if not for the 30 days reminder substack sent me🙄. September has been a lot for me, it’s my least favorite month and coupled with the fact that I have exams too (4 papers down, 4 to go😒).

Now back to today’s topic, Delusion or as it’s now called ‘Delulu’ is misinterpretation of reality and it is recognized as the basis of madness. Most of the people I’ve encountered in my life are delusional when it comes to me. Yes, I provide a level of safety when I’m in a relationship or for friendships or even casual acquaintances and this give most people the audacity to think that I won’t leave their sorry ass. I’m not a member of the village of Montunui, I WILL LEAVE!!!.

Now I have this problem with friends mostly. The fact that I’m always there when you need me does not mean that you can do as you please and come back to me whenever you need me. And when I start to withdraw, I’m labeled as the bad person.

This whole issue stems from a discussion I had with a friend last week where she told me that another friend of mine accused me of being nonchalant when it comes to her.

I believe we can all do better. It’s unfair to have some friends for aesthetic purposes but you can’t go to them when you mess up so you reserve some friends to clean your mess (Laishe LAWMA😂).

So fix up, yes You🫵.
