The more you argue
Hi🙈, I know it’s been more than a month since I wrote to you guys and I did not intend to ghost you people 🥺, I just had a lot on my plate.
So quick recap since the last time I wrote; I enjoyed my birthday (a little too much 😂), my people went out of their way to make me feel extra loved🥺 (and my man, thank you to my man🤭).
We had a one week break in school and I went to my father’s house because I really missed my parents🥺. I enjoyed my break so much and I did not want to leave sef😒. I had not seen my best friend for a while too so we did a lot of catching up 🙈. Saw another friend and one sent me a box of donuts (an extremely kind and sweet gesture). So glad for the people I have in my corner, no matter how long we stay away from one another, I know they are always there for me 🫶. On the contrary, I had to completely sever ties with someone I considered as my friend because of a recurrent shitty attitude, never has time to celebrate good things but always available for badmouthing others and gists. Abeg abeg, we are not kids anymore ✋.
Anyways, to today’s topic; The more you argue, the more you speak about something, the less your recipient listens. Now I’m someone that believes that too much explanation reduces your steeze😂 but recently, I found myself trying too much to get people to understand stuffs from my perspectives. The episode lasted for like 2 weeks or a month but I really felt ashamed of myself when I realized what I was doing. Part of the catching up with my best friend made me realize I was losing my touch, I mean, emi idan con dey explain too much 😂. I reorganized myself immediately sha and I got better results. Now all I do is make my point, short and concise, and move on. No argument, no side talks, it’s not a conversation, I’m just making a point.
I was trying to change my stance on somethings and it was not working so I switched back to my normal routine and even though it was thought to be ‘suspicious’😂, I got better results anyways so it’s a win-win.
This is your sign to let things go easily, you sef go get peace of mind. You may be nagging because you actually care but trust me, you’ll get little or no results. And if you let things go easily and your recipient is still not getting the hint, go elsewhere, Ko lo far rara✋😂🤚.
