Thoughtfulness and/or Romance?

There is a clear disparity between these two.

Exactly a month since I wrote to you guys last🌚. I’ve been trying to write this past week but I didn’t even know what to write about. I saw this thread (thoughtfulness and romance) on twitter and decided to write about it. I recently experienced both! How lucky is that?🤭.

Thoughtfulness refers to the quality of being considerate, attentive to the needs and feelings of others while romance is also all these but with a more intense emotional connection. You can be thoughtful but not romantic and vice versa. Being thoughtful is a good thing especially to friends, family and acquaintances but to your significant other, you also have to be romantic (na collabo 😂).

There was a discourse on twitter, this lady said her boyfriend does not buy her flowers (she loves them) but refills her prescription before she exhausts them. Of course, twitter people wanted to bite her head off, saying she is ungrateful and all that. I don’t think she is being ungrateful. Refilling her prescriptions is so thoughtful, trying to keep her healthy and all but that’s thoughtfulness not romance. Romance is knowing your partner loves flowers and buying them. Romance is doing little stuffs that you know makes your partner giggles. This applies to both genders btw.

This life is already hard; let’s try to make it easier for our partners❤️. If you don’t have partners, na you sabi (Sorry, me sef no get😔)

But if your partner comes here, he/she will be romantic and thoughtful to me oh, no vex my sister/brother🥲

Anyway, I had a wholesome experience last week, ugh🥹. As y’all know, I recently got out of a relationship (Alhamdulilahi 😂). I have no intentions of putting myself out there anytime soon but a girl can go on a few dates, can’t she?🤭. Had the best date ever🥹 not because of the food (they tried), not because of the ambiance (so serene), but because of the person. I love love Hozier’s songs and I’m generous enough to post screenshots of his lyrics on my social media. This person started listening to Hozier, got my favorite song from his album and ASKED the restaurant to play my favorite song while we were there😭. Smiled so hard my face started melting off🥹. It’s one thing to be courted; it’s another thing to be courted properly☺️. Just look at how happy I was (peep small😂).

Also went hiking in my scrubs😂; it was all fun till my trousers ripped up till my ass😭. That did not break me, I still had fun🤧.

I was almost crying in this picture sha. I did not want to go to the sloppy side and someone picked me up and started running towards the sloppy side 😭. Fear almost took my life😂. In this same week o, I had catarrh and almost died. It was not even funny😭 but I survived anyway☺️.
